Had quite a full day today... went to watch a movie with my mum and walked around P.S. I felt a little like a zombie. The mrt train was packed during peak period and we took the wrong train back home. When the announcer said, 'Aljunied,' my mum and I suddenly realised that we had taken the wrong train. The worst part was, I didn't even observe where I was going when we were at Dhoby Gaut Station, just followed. {note to self: improve on orientation-don't be so blur}
Anyway, I managed to complete a page of this:
(I was really fretting over the sewing of "everyday," felt like giving up...:) well, it turned out ok just that my paper is a little crumpled there. sigh.)

The picture is not so clear so the words and details are not exactly visible (have to work on taking clear pictures).
The words are about a poem written by Helen Steiner Rice.
Thank You, God, for little things
that come unexpectedly
To brighten up a dreary day
that dawned so dismally.
Thank You, God, for sending
a happy thought my way
To blot out my depression
on a disappointing day.
Thank You, God, for brushing
the dark clouds from my mind
And leaving only sunshine
and joy of heart behind.
Oh, God, the list is endless
of things to thank You for
But I take them all for granted
and unconsciously ignore
That everything I think or do,
each movement that I make,
Each measured rhythmic heartbeat,
each breath of life I take
Is something You have given me
for which there is no way
For me in all my smallness
to in any way repay.
