Music- practice, patience, passion (heh, maybe shall adopt this motto?just came to my mind)
Each day is full, packed. The holiday looks set to be busy, in a different way, not in the sense of a pile of homework to be done anymore but just- eventful. Have been scrapbooking, practicing piano, planning for the coming children's Christmas outreach preparations, going out etc.
Actually, I feel exhausted from all the activities. Exhilarated but yup, just 2 days into the holiday and I'm rather tired. Still, nothing beats the holidays.

Friday the 13th
Yay! 'O' levels is finally over! Thank God for seeing me through the whole time. It's amazing how much I've learnt through the 3 wks... like having faith in Him and depending on His wisdom and not on my own strength... really real. Not forgetting how in times when I panicked, he gave peace. Although, I can't say I feel secure for all the papers but I'm glad for the peace God gave me. Isaiah 12:2 was comforting.
Much to think about this holiday and a time when I can finally do what I enjoy doing and to meet up with friends... most importantly to focus on my walk with God. Today, during cell-group we talked about the 'first fruits' that God has given us and what sacrifice we can make in return that may be painful but that honours God, in other words, a sacrifice that is difficult to make. We drew it out. For me, it's mainly time. I find it extremely hard to sacrifice time for others... too much of the 'me' syndrome like studies etc. So, this holiday will be a good time for me to spend more time with others meaningfully and sincerely. Of course, I think it'll be more difficult next year (God willing) but it's a sacrifice worth making.
Besides that, today is supposedly World Kindness Day. I'm not familiar with all the different kinds of "days" celebrated but this was made all the more prominent because we received 2 packets of instant noodles.
There's so many exciting things to look forward to this holiday...

Whoa, this is an extremely long post... well just one more mundane thing. Recently Fred and I have been intrigued with a spider... actually I found it on the wall and asked him to catch it with some insect container thingy. He has been feeding it with bugs during this rainy season and the spider's what he calls 'cannibalistic.' It is quite interesting to watch how the spider forms its web in the container and sleeps in its home. (a special web corner) I don't exactly like watching the spider eat its prey though... it literally pounces!

Vienna
My dad is now in Vienna... where Mozart and Haydn spent much of their musical career.
So cool... I guess the place is full of musical history as well... not sure if it was the centre for music last time (must check it out). Although I won't be able to see how Vienna is like for real, one solace is that he's brought my camera along. :)
Was doing math and I'm just amazed (or irritated) by how tedious it all is but it's good for practice anyway... (math enthusiasts may beg to differ- after all math is their passion!)
I thank God for His Strength through this week.

Tuesday
Went back to school for English today. Ha ha, didn't feel like going because I woke up late and felt like sleeping in initially but I'm glad I did... it was beneficial.
When I was walking out towards the canteen, the familiar tune of 'Canon in D' sounded quite sonorously. It struck me as a pleasant surprise and I was wondering how the piano in the canteen could sound so loud. Then, I thought it couldn't be the piano, it might be some CD playing because it suddenly didn't sound like the piano, the timbre was different... the sound was unusually resonant. Well, the mystery was solved when I saw a chamber group on-stage when I walked into the canteen. I watched them for awhile, until they finished their performance. (I think it's some sort of Deepavali celebration as well.) Not bad, I would say. :) There were few violinists... only 2 (J. and a junior I think) The violists were strong and cellos not too bad either. No bass though. Haha... really miss those times where we can play together as an ensemble.
